Shinobu (しのぶ) is a character in the Aozora's Adventure series.
Background[]
Shinobu is a wondering female warrior that initially was raised by a tribe to become one of their greatest, wielding one of their legendary steel spears as a weapon. Despite being on the quiet but strict side (the latter being easy to reveal), Shinobu has a strong will and watches over her allies with great dependence.
After meeting Aozora and company, Shinobu took residence in Japan, where she lives alone in a small abandoned house located in a large forest, but is frequently not present due to her traveling alone or with her personal group of girls she leads over, who all wear similar outfits. She makes frequent appearances to aid Aozora, despite her being the target of some abuse, mainly with her spear being swiped, or male characters showing a strong affection to her appearance, especially with Zik and Taiyang.
At the age of 25, Shinobu was able to prove herself worthy of a rank increase, causing her to inherit a more advanced, high-quality spear and an outfit change. With this change, she was convinced with taking charge of some of the lower fractions of warriors as a trainer despite her objection, causing her to lose time with her personal group and exploring. While she found a small amount of enjoyment out of training up new warriors, she prefers doing her own thing of being and fighting alongside her friends.
Her main rival is Saniko, whom tries to keep up with and ultimately best Shinobu's abilities.
